01 / Direction

Tradition without nostalgia.

AP Milan began with a tension between contemporary design and traditional Italian references. Rather than treating those ideas as opposites, the identity uses the space between them: restrained and refined, but without relying on the familiar shorthand of luxury branding.

02 / System

Designed to move between image and object.

The identity was built to move across product, imagery and communication without requiring every touchpoint to look identical. Consistency comes through composition, typography and restraint, leaving enough room for the identity to change with its context.

Current-state note This case study documents AMOK's work during the AP Milan identity phase in 2021. Elements of the system were used before the brand later moved in a different direction. Keep this visually subordinate to the main narrative.
